Yes I do roleplay when I'm not slaving away making stuff...
"Glen got home from a long day of his regular duties at the jailhouse. Shrugging off his coat and tossing it carelessly, he walked to his messy cupboard and poured himself a stiff drink of whiskey. He headed over to the couch and he collapsed back onto it, with his boots still on. He took a deep breath of relaxation and enjoyed his drink while watching the fire crackle.
While his mind drifted in and out of thought, he nodded off to sleep, his fingers still curled around the small glass of whiskey. His mind and body were at peace, while other matters loomed just beyond his door...
"Did you bring the crowbar?" one of the men whispered quietly to the other as they stood infront of the Sheriffs door. "Of course I did ya stupid cocksucker!" He grumbled back as he fished it out from his duster. "Shhhh! Your gunna get us busted! I need the fucking cash!"
The one man, quickly and quietly pried open the sheriffs door. They looked at each other and nodded. Taking out their guns they eased themselves in thru the front door and stood for a moment adjusting their eyes to the dim room. They saw the Sheriff sleeping on the sofa "Shhhh! Hes sleeping, look over in the desk over there while I search this cabinet." the one man spoke to the other in a hushed voice. They quietly searched the room...
*SMASH* A glass from one of the cabinets onto the floor one of the men had accidently knocked over, shattering into a dozen peices. Glen awoke, startled he looked around, to find 2 dark figures standing over him. "Fuck! You fucking dipshit! Get him!" They both pounced onto the Sheriff, delivering blows to his face with their fists until he layed their in an unconscious bloody mess.
Taking a step back "Come on, lets finish looking now that hes out." They tore thru the house destroying it at the same time, looking for anything valuable. Stuffing their pockets with some cash they found in a small drawer. They emerged from Joes bedroom, vacant while she was away at school in another town. They found Glen standing there with a gun drawn on them.
"You god damn fucking son of a bitch!" Glen shouted as his finger pressed tight agasint the trigger of his gun. Squinting hard to see the men, both his eyes had puffed up swollen from the previous beating he recieved. Both the men startled to see him up, they grabbed for their weapons and quickly drew aiming at the Sheriff.
"Its no good Sheriff! Your outnumbered!" One of the men snarled. "Your a gunna pay fer this!" Glen pulled the trigger, a bullet piercing into one of the mens shoulders. "Fuck!" Several other bullets followed in a cloud of gun smoke in the small dim room. All was quiet for a moment. The smoke clearing. The one man grabbing his shoulder and muttering to the other who now had a bloody leg "Did ya get the son of a bitch?!"
They looked over near the door to find the Sheriff laying on the floor clutching his chest in a pool of blood. They both smiled at each other and walked over to him. Glen, feeling his breath short, fought for each breath. "This...isn't..over...." he quietly mumbled thru bloodied lips. "Like hell it is!" One of the men cackled and held his gun directly to glens heart. Glen already feeling himself slip away, his thoughts drifted to his daughter and the rest of his life. He spit out a mouthfull of blood at one of the men and muttered "Fuck you...." The man grinned and pulled the trigger..."
Glens funeral will be held today in Deadwood at 3PMslt, nothing fancy. I am taking Glen out of Role Play all together, and just leaving him separate for SL business. I learned a few lessons, and its best to keep business and role play characters separate...So now the fun part, making a new main RP character. I have found to find really good male skins, is a hard task. Where you aren't wearing eyeliner?!?!?!? I didn't get the memo that men wore eye make up nowadays...

What?!?!? A hunt?? I asked myself when I received an invitation to participate in this. I never even heard of them before until now. I guess its a really big type of Easter egg hunt, which are regular events and with different themed hunts. So after scratching my head and clearing the cobwebs from my head after getting over a bad flu. I decided sure why not...Steampunk is just grunge Victorian rather then the grunge western I do, lol.
So I threw together a men and womens matching suit outfit. Both include the jacket/shirts, top hats, diamond gear ring, glowing shattered monocle, top hats, pants and skirt. This hunt starts March 1st - March 31st. The outfits will be available for FREE during March, so don't forget to find the hiding gear, and check out the rest of the other great Steampunk/Victorian stores participating in this. (Special Thanks to Cici for donating her time to help model!)
"STEAM: Steampunk Travelers' Event, Adventure & Megahunt
STEAM: the Hunt!
Welcome to the second STEAM: the Hunt! It will run through March 1st-31st, 2010. The gifts will remain available for the entire month... if you can find them!
There will be many Steampunk-themed gifts to find hidden all over the grid in participating shops. You'll be offered a variety of gifts as you search for the hidden items. Only high-quality designers have been invited to participate, and their exclusive items will be available only for the duration of the hunt.
As with most hunts, you will be given a starting location. That location will give you the LM to the next, and so on. Although you can begin anywhere, we suggest that you start here"

Native women did not look like Pocahontas?!?!? Layered baggy dresses, and often a blanket wrapped around them was what they wore back in the 19th century. This is my first go on a womans item, but this could also be unisex since its modify.

For what seemed eternity, I finally finished up this outfit. A request from Clay, I think it turned out pretty good. Comes with the typical western duster jacket, shirt/vest, 2 different pants, tucked/untucked as well as a sculpted watch chain.

Picked up this great western store from Xstreet. Only $1500L, but it saved me time having to build and destroy my own building. It has 2 floors, should be enough to fit my growing wares into for now. Now to find a new vendor and get back to the grind.
People have been poking at me wanting to see the rest of the Civil War stuff I will be putting out. So I suppose that will be on the next to do list...

Finally! "The Miner" has entered the building! Sorry folks no sideburns...Anyways it took awhile doing this one, I wanted alot of detail in it. On the frontier, I don't think seamstress came along for sometime, so the miners/gold panners made do. Make shift patches and even missing buttons. Well worn and wrinkled, this outfit even comes with a dirty hand layer (gloves) I researched the fabric used back then, his shirt is Gingham, undershirt (union suit long john waffle fabric) along with brown woolen pants. In photos they were in layers of clothing, with sleeves up high and looked like they hadn't seen a bathtub in a month. (Boots are NOT included)
But this outfit is different from the others...he comes with a pickaxe. Not just any old pickaxe, done by the talented Mr Claytanic Kunglerr of Deadwood. It is fully scripted and has some great animations. Not only can you mine with it, but if you happen to venture to Deadwood role play sim, you can use it as a melee weapon as well! Now if you dont have enough for a gun, being a hard workin miner you can still protect yourself...or well...maybe just kill someone and steal their nuggets instead...
This outfit can be versatile and not just be used as a miner (gold panner), can be fit for a farmer, ranch hand, outlaw, a drifter...etc..etc
